The objective of this project was to create a cohesive display for a museum exhibition connecting three shoes from the Smithsonian collection. Choosing a 19th century nurses shoe, a union engineer shoe, and fisherman’s boot, my display centers on American workwear and the time industry workers spend on their feet.
